The Matt Cossa Memorial is based in Cary, NC.  Our organization is dedicated to promote research and treatment for lymphoma and other blood cancers.  With an all-volunteer staff, we strive to rally the community to help support our cause in memory of Matt, who we lost in March, 2006 to Hodgkins’ Lymphoma.  In just five years, we have raised over $125,000.  All proceeds go to the Duke Cancer Institute and are tax deductible.

Breaking news...

Dear Friends & Family.

On behalf of the Matt Cossa Memorial Foundation, we'd like to thank you for all of your generous support and hard work throughout our three big fundraising events this Spring - the Hearts for Matt gala, the second annual Miles for Matt 5K, and the sixth annual Bats for Matt memorial baseball game. Our cumulative total raised to date this year is $31,000 that will go directly to funding local blood cancer research projects at the Duke Cancer Institute. Doctors rely on funding from organizations like ours to provide seed money for research that gives hope to families in need and will one day lead to a cure for cancer. Survival rates continue to rise year after year as doctors experiment to find new drugs and build new technologies to battle this horrible disease.

Our events would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, and we would like to thank each of them for their monetary donations and food and prize contributions.
